FAQ Online Workshops

I don’t like to force you to buy all kinds of materials. Use what you have on hand, buy as less as possible! Workshops come with a list of supplies but most materials can be replaced by something you have in your stash… Alternatives will be given on the list of supplies.

NO. The lessons are designed so you can work at your own place. You can login to the community every time you like and get the info, download the lessons, look at the threads in the forum or chat at your own convenience.

YES, but you don’t have to if you don’t want to. All members get their own gallery to upload photos and share their work with other participants. It is always inspiring to see other people’s work and their interpretation of the lessons and challenges. It might even lead to MORE ideas and inspiration!

Ofcourse! I give encouragement, feedback and ideas but I won’t criticize. I won’t judge. My goal is for each and every one of my students to learn, discover new possibilities, stretch themselves just a little bit further, have fun and be inspired. How could that ever be “right” or “wrong”? I will be on the site checking in on a regular base, answering questions and looking at your work.

I graduated as a teacher in arts. I taught highschool children in textile arts, crafts and drawing. I have experience in writing lessons for art classes, building up line-to-line lessons. My knowledge includes arts history and I have varied experiences in crafting.

Aiii, I sure don’t hope so – but accidents can happen. If for some reason I won’t be able to continue with the lessons, the workshop will be postponed until a later date. If YOU can’t follow the workshop anymore, you will receive a link to download the lessons (pdf documents) so you will be able to continue self-paced later. You can always e-mail me if you have any questions.

Add the workshop(s) of your choice to your shopping cart and click ‘check out.’ In the following page, fill in your contact information. You can pay via paypal. (Dutch participants have the possibility to pay through their bank account – shop in the Dutch version of this website for that extra possibility.)

The price I’m charging (Euro’s) can be converted to your own currency using this converter: XE Quick Currency Converter. http://www.xe.com

You don’t need one, you can use your credit card! On the PayPal site, you will find the option: “Don’t have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account” (or a simular sentence.) When you use that option, you can pay with your credit card without making a PayPal account.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail. A few days before the workshop starts, your access to the workshop community will be activated and you will receive an e-mail with the information to log in.
